  27. GRn does all of those, except next to last (and yes, it's reference
  28. threading only works with locally stored news). I'm not aware of any
  29. mechanism that's part of NNTP to find the "size" of the article prior
  30. to it's transfer.

  32. GRn 3.0 is much faster and easier to use than 2.1a and before.
